Looking for a set schedule you can count on? Great for students! We currently have one opening for a Direct Support Professional Weekend Day Shiftto join our team here at Northwest Supported Living in Vancouver, WA. You will be working a 7am-7pm shift Friday through Monday at a variety of homes located throughout Vancouver. Guaranteed 40 hours/week, $18.45/hour* NWLS provides 24/7 in-home care for adults with developmental disabilities who live in their own home.

Benefits

-$18.45 /hour ($16.45/hour plus $2/hour temporary Covid pay through 3/31/22)

-Hire on/Stay On Bonus - $500 after 90 days and an additional $500 after 6 months

-Guaranteed 40 hours (10 hours/day, 4 days/week Friday through Monday)

-Employee Referral program (refer someone and get $500 at their 6 month anniversary!)

-Paid 75-hour state required certificate training

-Paid training for qualified applicants (CPR/First Aid, Food Handlers)*

Position Requirements

-Must have at least 6-8 months experience as a DSP or CNA or caregiver

-Must be able to answer your cell phone within 1 hour of receiving a call

-Must have reliable transportation

-Must be comfortable using a computer for daily charting and reports

-Duties include assisting or helping clients with personal hygiene, in-home activities, health and safety assistance, medication administration, cooking, activities

Requirements

-Must be able to provide proof of Covid vaccination record

-Must be 18 years of age or older

-High School diploma or GED NOT required

-Must be able to pass a background check

-Must be able to lift 50 lbs. if needed
